[ad_1] Windrush Celebration at UWTSD with the African Community Centre We proudly came together with University of Wales Trinity Saint David to celebrate the legacy of the Windrush generation through a day of learning, culture, and community. A Windrush elder shared her powerful journey, giving young people and community members a chance to reflect on the contributions and resilience of the Windrush community. Attendees enjoyed a Windrush film screening, deepening understanding of these inspiring stories. Pupils got creative with arts & crafts and joined in drumming workshops, bringing culture to life in an interactive way. Everyone enjoyed delicious Caribbean-inspired snacks, adding flavour to the celebration. The event was a vibrant mix of remembrance, education, and fun.
